What are the Benefits of the program?
- Financial incentive in the form of Rebates.
- Small businesses are eligible for up to $1000 in the form of rebates for each topic that they complete (maximum of 75% of WSIB premiums). Factoring in the reduced cost of our Structured program, an employer can save up to $400 per topic.
Yearly WSIB Premiums = $5,000 Rebate earned for 3 programs = $3000 Cost of 3 Topics for Structured Plan = $1800 Rebate saved for the 3 programs = $1200
Yearly WSIB Premiums = $3,000 Rebate earned for 3 programs = $2,250 Cost of 3 Topics for Structured Plan = $1800 Rebate saved for the 3 programs = $450
Aside from the financial incentives WSIB also issues badges that can be used by companies on their website, email signatures, advertisements etc. These badges show others what level of the Health and Safety Excellence program you have completed. In addition to building a company’s reputation in Health and Safety, these badges also show up under business profiles in safety stats.
