Personal Protective Equipment

Our PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Training course meets all federal Occupational Health and Safety legislative requirements for all provinces. The course has 5 modules with each section having a corresponding review quiz to reinforce and verify the participant’s understanding of the material. All questions are reviewed to ensure complete understanding of not only the answer but the principals behind it. Once each module has been successfully completed you will take the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Training Final Test and be awarded with a certificate upon success.

Course Modules:

  1. Laws and Regulations
  2. Hand and Feet Protection
  3. Protective Clothing
  4. Head Protection – Hard hats, eyes, ears
  5. Respirators/SCBA’s

Course Goals:

The central objectives for this course is to provide participants with:

  • The knowledge of how PPE is used in different work situations like warehouses, outdoors, at heights, with chemicals, and more
  • The CSA standards that relate to PPE and the different situations PPE is used in
  • Information about how to properly use PPE allowing it to work effectively
  • Information about inspecting and maintaining your PPE to ensure proper working condition

This course deals with the general guidelines for use, inspection maintenance and categories of PPE. Site-specific training is required
